Hooked Up is a 42' Uniflite LOA. Very large, clean, comfortable and safe. This boat is very large for a 42' boat. The back of the boat is open so you can see all the action with out leaving the cabin. Makes it great to watch the lures in the shade. There is lots of room in the cabin, cockpit and the bridge. It is 14' wide. I can not say enough about how much room it has. We can seat 6 people up stairs on the bridge with the captain. We have two full size couches in the cabin and still have plenty of room to move around. The cock pit has been extended two feet to really give us plenty of space to work.
Hooked Up has two 671N Detroit motors with a cruising speed of 20 knots. It has a private clean bathroom with a shower and a sink. A kitchenette with a microwave for your use in the cabin. We have a stereo/cd player in the cabin. The front V berth has a queen bed that sleeps 2 people and the bunk room will sleep 2. There is a couch and a bench seat that folds out to a bed in the cabin. Outside on the deck there is a fighting chair and big fish box with a cushion that is very comfortable. The bridge is well shaded and can seat up to 6 people, that is unheard of on most boats in Kona. We have all the safety gear that is required by the coast guard plus a automatically deployable class 2 epirb. The epirb is not required but I think it is a must for all boats that go off shore.
Tackle
Trolling - Five 130#, two 80 # and three 50 # Shimano Tiagra two speed reels with custom rods. We use IGFA Amalon-T line on the 130's and IGFA Momoi on the other reels.
Light Tackle - Shimano Tiagra 16 # two speed reels, 20# Penn Graph-Lite reels and 30 # Avet two speed reels with Tallus blue water series rods.
Jigging - Two 16 # Shimano Torium reels with 80 pound power pro line and Trevala
series rods..
Green Stick - Used for catching large tuna in the porpoise schools.
Fighting Chair - The fighting chair is made out of teak and is completely adjustable for all sizes. We use a grander series bucket harness with the chair.
Teaser Reels - Double pancake Elec-tra-mate teaser reels with auto memory.
Tuna Tubes - Double Kodiak Marine Tuna Tubes.
Lures - Alii Kai, Marlin Magic, Joe Yee, Mold Craft and Aloha Lures.
