Hooked Up fished a 3/4 day with a nice couple from Texas. The wife booked the fishing trip in Kona and she was really excited to try her look at marlin fishing. They were both divers and enjoyed the ocean.. Told me right off the bat it would be a bonus if we caught one but we understand fishing and going to have a good time no matter what. Well that type of attitude payed off around 8:00 a.m. when she caught her first blue marlin ever.. Then around 10:30 a.m. captain Shawn yells out short corner, I looked and did not see anything. Then seconds later the long corner went off and her husband got to catch a blue marlin. So it was a his and her blue marlin monday…
