Kona Fishing Tournaments Information

Kona Fishing Tournaments – Fish & Compete with Hooked Up!

Looking to get in on the action of Kona, Hawaii’s world-famous fishing tournaments? Join Hooked Up Sportfishing—one of the top-performing tournament boats in Kona—and experience elite-level big game fishing with a serious shot at winning.

Captain Chuck Wigzell has led Hooked Up to place and win in many of the top Hawaii marlin tournaments, backed by over 30 years of experience and cutting-edge gear like the Furuno Omni Sonar, which gives us a major advantage over the competition.

He’s also the only captain to ever catch over 200 blue marlin in a single year—even before sonar was introduced. That legacy, combined with tournament wins and the prestigious Richard Boone Award at the Hawaii International Billfish Tournament, proves Hooked Up is a force in the Kona fishing scene.
