The past eight days of fishing have been really strong for us. We’ve been averaging one to two blue marlin per day, and honestly, anything more than that just means you’re absolutely smashing the rest of the fleet.
Since adding the Omni sonar, it’s been incredible to see the difference. The amount of fish we’re finding and raising has gone way up, especially blue marlin. It’s amazing how much more efficient and consistent the fishing has become with this technology.
This morning alone, we’re already two for two on a half-day trip, and we also lost a monster estimated at 500–600 pounds after a solid fight.
